In my dreams, the NEC becomes the Eastern Seaboard Corridor and runs from Portland, Maine to Miami, Florida.

Hopefully electrification just keeps inching south to Richmond, Raleigh, Charlotte, Atlanta, ...

I can see North Carolina and Georgia being on board, but good luck convincing South Carolina to agree as well.

This is even though HSR could really help develop two cities in SC.

I honestly didn't want more high speed rail options across the nation, I was looking for some more of that Fascism, book banning, and discrimination. Could I get way more of that please? /r
