I think the background generates too much noise and the black-white background-text contrast is too much

EDIT: I've changed with the litely-compact, but I think default settings should be welcoming anyway

Should probably contain: information about the legal ownership of the instance, what country the server is located in, a privacy policy, DMCA compliance info.

There's probably a bunch of info about this sort of thing if you use a search engine too.

During sign-up I noticed there's a checkbox for that. I'm guessing it's a default option on all Lemmies. Will NSFW, and what particular kinds if any, will be allowed on this Lemmy?

Like, seriously, isn't a Lemmy some type of endangered animal?
