I sort of agree with you. It's entering "That One Joke" territory.
I think the reason this joke gets so much play is because it annoys the Republicans and it's been a long time since the Democrats have been able to rally around a joke that annoys them.
Sort of like zippers on couch cushions.
Or so I imagine.
That and the internet loves a running joke. Lemmy's no exception, what with the beans and the jeans and the stock pic memes 😁
