Its more that sony thought that they were in an a equal partnership, meanwhile Nintendo thought that they could treat sony however they wanted
Lol no, Sony was trying to use as many of their own parents as they could so they could fuck Nintendo over on royalties. They'd set up the Nintendo PlayStation's hardware so that Nintendo was having to pay royalties multiple times for a single device. Sony is literally scum. Nintendo is barely better, but at least they don't have a history of trying to pass off literal malware as drm.
Edit: Sony is one of those companies, where if there's something you hate in life, they probably had a hand in making it somehow.
