A Ford Motoer Company patent application filed in February and published last month proposes software that would monitor in-car conversations and other data to help serve up advertisements.

It's gonna be standard practice to pull the cellular modem out of cars when putchased, or at least pull the fuse.

They're gonna tie it into a safety component so it can't be messed with. Likely they'll say it's tied to the emergency system that can alert authorities in the event of an accident.
