Disclaimer: It turns out that his wall charger was wired incorrectly, so mains voltage was wired to the ground of the vehicle, and well the chassis is the vehicle’s ground, hence the voltage. Source. Thanks @WalkingOnEggshells@beehaw.org for the correction.

Has someone pulled this joke on other cars? I feel like I should have seen someone bring this up by now--how can this be the first time it's happening, unless the Cybertruck lacks some design or feature that other cars have?

Yeah, I'd be curious to see if another car plugged into the same charger would exhibit the same effect.
