Tell me more... do you mean VCAT if I find that she's re-listed it within 6 months? Or VCAT for any breach notice/bond shenanigans that might come up?

Both. VCAT for all RE and LL shenanigans. Remember to claim your bond immediately after leaving as well so they can't do anything tricksy with it

I'm definitely claiming my bond the second I hand back the keys - phone in hand, finger hovering over the button. LL seems clueless about tenants' rights and I'm not about to educate her. She can moan about needing to inspect first as much as she likes on the day... got any problems, see you at VCAT✌️

I'll be asking her for a rental payment ledger asap, good that she is legally required to provide one within 7 days.

fuck the REAS, best thing that ever happened for renters was having the ability to request your bond back yourself
