I don't see why any level would go "Oh furries are going to love this, and we can't have that" and change the design.
How many NBA mascots would lose their jobs if we were all so uptight about shit like this?

Based on the photos of the mascots, there's no way they didn't hire a furry to draw those.
It's funny how it's so distinctly "furry" over just "animal mascot" but I can't put my finger on the details that make it so
