This would be so good. As someone who fully switched to Firefox on Android I hate that chrome webview is a thing.
Closest without rooting is to "uninstall updates" to the chrome app in the menu which makes it "APK Stub" instead of Chrome, ans then disabling Android Webview.
Why does that bother you? There's also a Firefox Webview you can use system-wide. I think only Google apps insists on opening Chrome's webview.
Huh? First time I hear of such a thing. How can I use this Firefox Webview system-wide?
Sorry, by looking more into it I realized webview is actually a different thing than what I was thinking about.

"Vanadium isn't yet officially available for users outside GrapheneOS, although we plan to do that eventually. It won't be able to provide the WebView outside GrapheneOS and will have missing hardening and other features" from their github
