I don't think I've ever called my brother "bro". I call my friends "bro" all the time.

Idk, I definitely call both my brothers bro, but I'm also 10 yrs younger than one and 21 yrs older than the other. They're also both half-bros tho, so maybe that's it

I've also used brochacho here and there since learning it

Did your mom start real young and IVF the last one or did your dad bang younger women?

[-] Psychodelic@lemmy.world 5 points 2 weeks ago

My mom had my bro at 20, and me at 30. My dad had me at 30 and my lil bro at 52. Dude's crazy lol

my siblings and I call each other then most derogatory nicknames we for each other since we used to argue and fight a lot growing up unless shit is serious. then it's "hey (actual name)"

my home life wasn't super stable so I wonder how many families have this kind of sibling relationship

[-] morrowind@lemmy.ml 2 points 2 weeks ago

Same except my home life was fairly stable.

Although I guess our nicknames, while certainly insulting, aren't too derogatory

I just call my brother by his (shortened) name to his face, or his full name to my parents. And "my brother" when referring to him anywhere else.
