Last week while going through customs my backpack got flagged. Off it goes behind the perspex. Gets to the end. Officer looks at the X-ray. Gives the ok.

This morning, same thing happens. Off goes my very full but underweight bag. Not so nervous this time. I met back up with it at the end but this time he decides to rifle through my bag to find the alleged culprit. I am now curious. My ziplock bag with moisturisers and sunscreens. At first he tries to read them, then he opens the bag up and dives in. Comments such as: "Sometimes these are 125ml, oooo nice moisturiser and lovely".

I was half expecting him to try some on.

When I was flying back from Adelaide for the first time (first time on a plane, back in 2022), when I went through security, they told me that the area around my knee and back of neck (where my hoodie was bunched up) set off their sensor and I needed to go to the man on the other side so he could back of hand my knee. I should point out I was in above the knee shorts ๐Ÿ˜‚

By the way, my Fitbit has been pinging off that I earned new Zealand (apparently I've done 1,593 km while wearing it) and I thought of you

We had to lift our pants to show our socks (presumably for flora). It's amazing what we do when caught in the headlights.
