I am home alone today and have a day off work. I might watch a movie, practise my instruments and actually log it in my practise diary, and take the dog for a walk.

I want to try and watch a movie a week this year.

accountabilityDog walk is done!

What stuff do you do for practice?

My teacher gave me a spider exercise, one octave of the C major scale and picking exercises for guitar. I'm still trying to get the hang of picking and fretting. The whole hand eye coordination thing.

And then piano, a couple of songs.

I won't have time for all this when uni starts again, so one of the instruments will have to be a casual thing.

They're good starting exercises for sure!

I'm biased, so I'm voting for piano to be casual lol

Piano is more for relaxing, guitar is for stress relief hehe

10000000000% agree guitar is for stress relief lol. That's probably why I've stuck with it for so long. I'd say it's become a natural part of my emotional release now.
