Already is. I've even met a couple sites that only accepted GMail and Outlook addresses for sign-ups. And good luck making sure you don't end up in spam with something else.
Out of interest, how does the spam find a self hosted email? If i, for example, only submitted it one two sites where it was never leaked, and i never publicly posted it?
I mean that YOUR emails would possibly end up in spam of say GMail users.
