@khitomershamster@social.seattle.wa.us that's the advantage to sub zero days. If there were clouds it wouldn't be so cold. I'll take frozen fingers for some decent light any day...

@JimsPhotos@ohai.social I also want to acknowledge how hard it is to get small birds. They are fast and uncooperative for photos. I'd be be doing great to get that many shots in a year.

@khitomershamster@social.seattle.wa.us it is just time, if you are out a lot like me you'll learn where best to find certain birds. I have about 5 good reserves within 30 mins of my home so I have learned the best places to go and at what time of year. The end of the day, the more opportunities you give yourself the more change of getting shots..
