Well I've got my everything crossed that Aussies turn out to be a bit smarter than Americans, as a whole. I'm not super optimistic, but we have a lot more to lose than Americans did. Our government still kinda works for the majority in some aspects.

It's like it's an inherent feature of the system or something.
Yep. We're deep into the game of monopoly now. Someone's put hotels on those expensive properties and now it's just a matter of time until they have all the money or we just decide we don't want to play anymore. They're the only possible outcomes.
