I imagine it won't be so much dismantling as purging all opposition and stuffing agencies with loyalists.

Yeah, that's what I'm expecting. I think he's going to try and go full dictatorship in the coming years. It's going to be interesting to see how much the "opposition" actually tries to stop him and also if SCOTUS will finish gutting the bill of rights by midterms or not. This country was already a cruel joke, now it's going to just be cruel.

I'm guessing they won't need to do an open dictatorship any more than neocons did. They'll just stuff all the institutions with people loyal to them, and the permanent bureaucracy will be loyal to the republicans going forward. That said, very much agree that there will be more cruelty for the working class as a result.
