Something somewhat positive that came out of this whole thing is I've realised I really am a textbook workaholic.

All I ever do is think about work and now that I'm apathetic towards the current job, my mind is unoccupied.

It feels uncomfortable right now. Having to accept certain realities about isolation and loneliness.

But at least now I know.

It's a start.

Have you ever tried volunteering? If you find the right gig you can channel all of that work energy into it, and the community benefits. And you make like-minded friends.

That's a great idea. I think I know just the place!

Yes. A start. As you get more confident, you can branch out a bit more and make more connections. It's tough but it can be done. And you have your music (and Gibson).

Absolutely. I do have a handful of friends which I'm grateful for, but I'm used to a different kind of social circle.

Tough is a great challenge.

All in good time :)
