This shit is so fucking Russian. Blatantly corrupt.
With Russian shit you wouldn't hear of this, and the investigators wouldn't be very willing to do anything in the first place.
That you even hear about this is a sign of resilience of your system.
Like a canary that's dying, that is.
Seems to me that the USA is quite close to having journalists / whistleblowers dying by suicide…
So close that it has happened multiple times.
I don't even mean that, just the fact that there is some outrage, you are normally talking about it, and parts of the government actually act as they are supposed to.
Hmmm that's the 20th canary that's violently exploded this week...
This kind of wacky xenophobia is fundamental to fascism.
