I have an old LED tv and ever since I got Jio's Gigafiber I have been using JioTV as well (actually it's my parents).

My LED tv doesn't have any OS in it, while the Jio TV runs a customized Android version (if I'm not wrong). So this led me to wonder, if people can cast content playing in their phones / computers to JioTV set top box.

My apologies if the feature already exists, I just don't know where it is.

Yes, there's a app named Miracast or any casting apps, which is available in your tv. Find it out and connect with your phone through screencast. Btw, why there's less user In lemmy?

Thanks ! I'll checkout if mircast is available on jiotv.

As for the low user problem - I guess the reddit problem has settled down.. most of the privacy concious people might have already switched over to lemmy or kbin.

Unfortunately, it does not look like many Indians care about privacy / doesn't find the concept of fediverse and lemmy actractive enough... which directly translates to very low number of posts on this community. Lets hope it changes with time.

Yes, most of user here are concious about privacy as they even are using piped yt link instead of YouTube link. Haha, it's funny, but it depends on them what platform they like. You're first Indian user which I met on lemmy.
