Newly Proposed Syrian Constitutional System of Government

Proposed by Syrian Caretaker Government on March 13th for 'transitional period'

Found this image and quotes on r/syriancivilwar.

All Syrian power centralized on Julani (Al Qaefa rebranded as HTS), they refused any type of federative system that would grant more autonomy for regions, and now they are also massacring Alawites the coast, plus, the "temporary" accumulation of power that, according to Julani, will be only for ~5 years until the new "democratic" constitution takes place, I have no faith that he will hand over power in the future. Just a terrible situation Syria is in now.

Literally the entire top level of the government is appointed by the president, who also effectively has supreme veto power over every decision (since vetos can only be overturned by 2/3rds majority, which probably won't happen).

Like at this point literally just make an absolute monarchy it would be more efficient.

Unironically, yes. They only mask it as "democracy" to make the West lift the sanctions, western countries don't really care if it is really a democracy or not (like with Saudi Arabia), only optics.
