this was me about 30 years ago on a larp where at midnight we came across a mage in a circle.. along with a scarecrow.. I smacked the scarecrow with my sword and it screamed and lunged at me.. I ran away bravely and as fast as possible straight into a tree, dropped my lantern and carried on screaming into the night. the most scared I've been in larp, proper suspension of disbelief. thanks for the memory ๐
