Because it's very hard to search online for "how tariffs work". This is why Trump got elected, because idiots like this who have no capacity to fact check things voted for him, no questions asked.
To make answer short, YOU pay the tariffs dummy. You do!

It’s not even because it’s hard to search, they lack the capacity to think critically. Even if they were smart enough to do a google search on the workings of tariffs, they still wouldn’t do it. They take everything they see on their feed and Newsmax at face value.
