Well, 75 million American adults didn't deserve this, plus all the minors. Everyone else is either guilty or massively complicit.
Only time I'm proud to be a member of "millions of Americans" is in the context of voting against this hellscape the rest wanted and seem happy with.
Last I checked in the US the children pledge allegiance to the flag. Which means they're confirmed to be involved even in a small way.
