it’s an endemic disease, meaning it persists at manageable levels, similar to influenza.
thanks for the info, you're right. well, that's a bit of a relief for me then. still not great lol.. just means the disease isn't an international disaster impacting several communities. i hope our vaccines against it continue to be successful.
