From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).
Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.

If it's worth the price I would also be down to spend a bit more than 300 - sadly though after checking there are a total of 2 used Framework laptops on sale in my country total - and both are non-touchscreen versions sadly :/
Edit: after having a look at the Framework 12 it seems basically exactly what I'm asking for - apart from the fact that it won't be out for another half a year and the price point of 570€ with an i3 and 0 GB of storage and RAM - I'm guessing I could pick this up used in a couple of years but until then I'm still looking for recommendations ;)
