it was supposed to be fixed with iOS 18. in fact apple intelligence was the whole selling point for the iphone 16 range. But it all got delayed and now were just stuck with the buggy mess of iOS 18 and the stupidity of siri whilst apple still kick it around between internal product teams.

That they charge 1300 bucks for the base iphone these days is insanity ontop of all this mess.

And this is why I've kept Android as a phone and have an iPad for access to the app store.

I still have to reboot my phone far less frequently than I did on samsung.
