So here's the thing. The government did order ISPs to block thewire.in, bur Indians bring Indians, except for a few ISPs everyone was too slow to follow the order. It was even accessible from BSNL. And by now the government has already unblocked the website. So, all in all, it was nothing more than a massive farce in the end.
