The answer is simple: Bernie can have AOC as his VP, and write a public binding contract where she can remove him from office if she deems his mental faculties to be in decline. Just because it hasn't been done before, certainly hasn't stopped the likes of Trump from doing weird things.

Our politics are Calvinball, and the Geronocrats have fundamentally failed to recognize that fact.

I'm saying that "too old" means "too far to the left" and that the party would run a fucking mummy as long as it didn't want to raise the minimum wage or implement universal healthcare.

I'm saying that 86 is too old to run for president regardless of policies.
