It'd make sense if it was true that lightning was what started life
do you know that a lightning or some naturally occuring current was not the energy source neccessary for abiogenesis? Huh? Do you? Huh?!
Since on one has created life from not-life in a lab, I'm pretty sure no one knows exactly what was necessary.
