Okay, since the John is Possessed game didn't end up gaining traction, let's do a game of Laser's and Feelings. It's a one-page space rpg by John Harper. We'll keep it fast and loose, and base this one the tone of Galaxy Quest/Star Trek/The Orville etc.

Choose Your Number, from 2 to 5: A high number means you're better at LASERS (Technology; Science; Cold rationality; calm, precise action). A low number means you're better at FEELINGS (Intuition; Diplomacy; Seduction; wild, passionate action).

STORY:
ALIEN BRAIN WORMS WANT TO EMPOWER THEIR GIANT DEATH RAY WHICH WILL DESTROY AN ENTIRE SOLAR SYSTEM!!!
Kidd sees the danger he is and dives out of the way, leaving his phaser on the ground. This seems to be a lasers roll, I'm well trained in combat, and that includes evasion, so I'd say I'm skilled in that, I rolled a 1 and a 3.
I'll try to reach the destroyed console to see if I can fix it in the next round.
Sorry for the delays, the Internet is still out at my place and I haven't been able to make it to town for the past week. I'll try to have something up hopefully today, but might be tomorrow depending on how errands go this afternoon.
