They could boost Ukranian morale, but there's only so much you could use morale for.
You can use it to prolong the war and ensure more Ukrainians get slaughtered which is what the regime wants.

clearly, and all the western regimes want the same thing as well
Why do you think the Ukrainian regime wants more Ukrainians to die? I understand the American and European MIC's incentive, but not the Ukranian regime's.
It's pretty clear that they do given that they refuse negotiations and literally gang press people from the street to fight.
