Donald Trump is skilled at inflaming culture-war conflicts to distract from the GOP’s shameless class war on behalf of the rich. For Democrats to counter Trump effectively, they need to attack the billionaire class.

Yes, they could. However, they're owned by the same billionaires as the Republicans and the desire is to burn it all down. As such, the Democrats will continue to be good lap dogs and do their part to ensure the destruction occurs.

Of the month? This has been the case for a very long time... Jimmy Carter may have been the last real Democrat. Bill Clinton was all over the place. Otherwise, it's been nothing but a shit-show and theater.
