Do you not understand the concept of "lying?" The comic is showing the British person selling drugs and calling it MSG. It isn't actually MSG. ๐คฆโโ๏ธ
Yeah but they didn't lie about what Opium was. It's a weird obfuscation/selfcensoring.
The Brits would absolutely just ask kids on the street if they wanted some opium. Hell, forget the asking part, kidnap/buy them, get them hooked, and prostitute them was a go-to move.
