@mattblaze@federate.social My favorite bit of the park. I was worried it might have been poisoned by Robert Moses but the space is part of the original Vaux and Olmsted design (RIP Casino) and the fountain is an 1873 design by Emma Stebbins https://www.nycparktours.com/the-story-of-bethesda-terrace-and-fountain/
