I know I should get over it, but do you think it's 'ok' to be miffed about donating something to someone and not even getting a thank you in return?
It's been a month. I am mostly over it, but from time to time it comes to mind and it bugs me as someone who lives in a world thinking they've never mattered.
If thanks isn't the first word that comes out of your mouth when given something, then there's something wrong with you.
Yeah, I'd be pissed off.
Yes absolutely. It's basic manners.
Send them a note asking if they like it.
I think that's a normal reaction to not receiving thanks - it's a simple way of showing gratitude.
If it's a person I donated something to I'd be pretty annoyed but I've been more and more noticing how people lack the common courtesy to use just a little bit of manners, which goes a long way.
Iโd definitely be pissed off. How hard is it to say thank you?!
