No, this looks more like hasbara. Been seeing an increase in that on Lemmy lately.
Liberals don’t like Bernie, and only use him as a shepherd for the left. Most of Bernie’s original base outgrew him, and moved farther left. The most aggressive defense of Bernie I’ve seen from real progressives is still sprinkled with some mild disappointment in Bernie on this and other issues.
Bernie is Jewish and the small "radical left" bubble you're in has become antisemitic.
This is what it looks like when you're in a hate group. Lots of rationalizations about why you shouldn't like the people you used to like and it's "just a coincidence" that those people happen to be of the ethnicity and/or religion of a particular group that the people you listen to hate.
In my experience it is specifically posts against Bernie's liberal Zionism which tank hard. Libs have no qualms upvoting anti Israel stuff when it calls out Trump.
Exactly. It’s hasbara accounts trying to use Bernie to launder genocide normalization.
