Since Lemmy bugs out and fails to post whenever I forget to "Select Language", I feel the need to select "English" every time. But why should I do this? I can't speak any other languages.

Is there a setting somewhere that automatically sets "English" without me having to post?

Also, can the UI like... die / allow me to come back without forcing me to reload the page? Its incredibly frustrating to post right now.

Did you deselect "Undetermined" language from your settings?

Nope. That's still in my settings.

But I'm guessing other people have deselected "Undetermined", and I have to respond to them in English, or something.

It shouldn’t disappear for you if you’ve got that selected. Unless you mean it doesn’t get any interactions.
