As Israel's massive, unprovoked bombardment of Iran continues, Trump has ordered U.S. aircraft carriers, destroyers and warplanes to head towards the region. At any moment, Trump could decide that the U.S. war machine will directly enter the fight and unleash unthinkable devastation on the people of Iran. This is the critical moment when we need to make it loud and clear that the people of this country reject another endless war โ join us in the streets on June 26! The National Iranian American Council, ANSWER Coalition, Palestinian Youth Movement, The People's Forum, and many other organizations are joining together to organize these actions.
A U.S. bombing campaign could easily spiral into "boots on the ground", massive casualties, and a regional or even global war with catastrophic consequences. And more and more of our tax dollars will be eaten up by the war machine rather than being used to meet human needs.
Just like George W. Bush was lying about "weapons of mass destruction" in Iraq, Trump and Netanyahu are lying about an Iranian nuclear weapons program. This is a war for regime change and a war to steal Iran's vast oil and gas resources. The people say NO!
