I'm honestly not sure they are trying to distract here, neocons have wanted to bomb Iran for more than 50 years. Trump is just dumb enough to do it.

They aren't distracting from anything, they like doing all these shitty things.

Netanyahu is under extreme pressure from the right and left.

Trump is currently trying to pass a budget full of tremendously unpopular stuff and cuts to Medicaid that will affect his base
