A "Showerthought" is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you're doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. The best ones are thoughts that many people can relate to and they find something funny or interesting in regular stuff.

I eagerly await Lemmy's "u/PM_ME_YOUR_BUTTHOLE" phase, if only so we can get it over with and move on.
Already had someone with a username like that scream and fight with me because they took my simple comment and turned it into whatever they felt like turning it into.
Can't take the Reddit out of Redditors, I guess. Brought with them their cringe naming conventions and urge to fight with people every chance they get.. or make.
