The establishment honestly really dropped the ball TBH. Like, if Cuomo was the best they could do, then it's kinda obvious why.

Some of Mamdani's policies I take issue with. Rent freezes are a really janky solution as opposed to land taxes, and free public transport is not really the answer to New York's transit problems. I'm Australian so I don't know enough about the political feasibility of the alternatives though.
