Stop Killing Games:

The consumer movement to stop game publishers from intentionally destroying older games with kill switches.

The goal is to reach 1 million signatures in the EU so that the european parliament will respond to the initiative that then leads to regulation that requires end-of-life plans for games to stay playable.

The signing ups are skyrocketing and I may have found two culprits.

Second, Elon Musk (yes, sigh) retweeted a post about Pewdiepie endorsing SKG.

Exciting to see the progress though I would have preferred to not have this "personality" be associated with the goal of the initiative...

Of course Elon Musk retweeted a Grummz post about it. Exposure is exposure though, and a signature is only a signature, so happy to see the movement getting positive traction anywhere it can.
