Hrm, does this allow for things like sharing speed traps or raid hazards like items in the road?
That's a pretty big reason why I haven't moved off of Google maps (despite trying to degoogle the rest of my life).
Magic earth does that.
Oh cool, just downloaded it. Looks like it'll do some congestion stuff too?
That it does. However, I haven't used it enough to make any statements about its accuracy.
Unless they get that data from some third party source, it's probably based on user metrics like Google maps.
Anything is better than nothing though. OSM once navigated me into a huge traffic jam. 😄
