Oh man. Well I started watching The Wire recently for the first time, and holy MOLY is that a good show. Lots of layers of moral complexity and flawed characters and smart criminals. Really loving every bit of it so far.

Almost through Season 2 of Star Wars: Andor. Andor S01 was probably my favorite Star Wars ever (and i've seen most of it), and Season 2 is amazing so far. Kind of similar to The Wire, actually, but focused on characters doing crime for the purpose of rebellion, instead of just trying to get money or status. This season has things to say about empires committing genocide, and that really resonates in this particular moment. Just amazing writing all around, not perfect but pretty damn close.

And like everyone: The Bear. Currently just rewatching Season 3, and this is the weakest of the first 3 seasons, but it's still just really good TV. Funny, witty, intense, and every shot is visually-stunning. The show reminds you that family and community is what we need to hold each other up, and I'm really loving that rn personally.

My partner really loves The Pitt! What are you feeling about it? Were you someone that watched ER?

Season 2 of Star Wars: Andor

I haven't made it through Clone Wars. Does Andor depend on having seen any of the other bon movie franchises?

Not at all! If you have seen the original 6 Star Wars movies, you will understand every important reference in the show. There are always easter eggs like any big franchise show or movie, but almost nothing that actually adds to your understanding of the plot. If you haven't seen Rogue One yet, I highly recommend saving it and watching it after finishing the show, as the show is all of the events leading up to the beginning of Rogue One.

Unfortunately, I saw Rogue One. It wasn't one of my favorite movies in the franchise.

That's fair! Well most people saw Rogue One before Andor, so it isn't like it ruins the show or anything.
