Oil is a terrible investment. It has 14 trillion in assets that are quickly becoming a liability and the market has not priced in the cost of abandoning that infrastructure.
As if the correct destruction and recycling would even once be done by the company...
Worst case, they'll cash out, declare bankruptcy and tax money pays again for the clean up
