Yes. It can be true that it's raining outside; and at the same time my house is burning down.

When someone suggests my priority should be to "find my rain coat before leaving the house" I tell them they're a fucking idiot.

"Solely" implies that it's the only thing. So it literaly can not be true as long as one other thing is true.
