Oh yeah, every time I talk about king's IT, I go "It's great except that one scene, right?" and anyone who's read it agrees.
I listened to the audiobook. I felt like I was breaking a law.
There were some fucked up scenes in the later Dune books too. If they ever make the whole series into movies they will probably have to invent a new way to wake up the repressed memories in Duncan Idaho's young clone.
