While I think it is ridiculous that a payment processor is the one making the demands, I do think that porn games should be put in a completely separate part of the store.

Gog is far worse than steam on the issue, just looking at the list of new games, there are games like "Lust Academy Final" and "Succubers!" right on the first page of the list, and this is when I am not even logged in.

It cheapens the store's brand, just set up a separate category and don't show the games in the main lists of the store
