As far as I know, im not autistic, but i have the craziest memory when it comes to music. I'll remember events from 20 years ago about what song played on the radio or what was happening when this song played. My wife thinks im crazy. Outside of this, my memory used to be ok, but in recent years, it's not so great, so it's wild that these events still get saved forever, it seems.
Are you sure it’s not that a specific memory is triggered by a certain song?
I have thought of that, but it works both ways. So sometimes it can be a special moment, and that makes sense, but other times I can be like hey remember the last time we heard this? I was washing dishes, and you were setting the table for dinner 6 years ago on so and so day. It's super weird.
