If green tech had never been forcibly suppressed by the fossil fuel industry, we'd already have much better batteries.

That being said we're not too far even as it is.

Lithium batteries are not too green, no, but we're well on our way to sodium ones.

You can get power packs and there's even an EV with sodium-ion batteries.
